Make your Christmas presents more personal

Make your Christmas presents more personal

1. Measure carefully

If you are careful when you measure how much paper is needed, the packages will not be lumpy, and you will save on the earth's resources. Leftover small pieces can be used for smaller packages.

2. Use several different papers

Buy more rolls and mix the motifs instead of using the same wrapping paper for all packages. You can even mix papers on the same package, use a solid colour paper as the background and add a border of something more colourful.

3. Use what you have

Who said packages can only be wrapped in gift wrap? Use old newspapers, aluminium foil, and other things you have at home to create variety under the tree.

4. Creative decorations

Strings, pieces of yarn, ribbons... You can probably find something at home that you can make a bow out of. In it, you can then attach everything from fir branches to key rings.

5. Alternative packaging

Fool the recipient! Wrap something small in a large box, let something soft become a hard present or let the box itself become a present that you fill with something exciting.
